Dr. B C Renjukumar did his MBBS and MD (General Medicine) from Govt Medical College
Thiruvananthapuram and completed his Post Graduate Training in DM Cardiology from BYL Nair
Hospital and Topiwala National Medical College, Mumbai. After his formal training in Cardiac
Interventions, he worked as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist in various Super Speciality
hospitals. He has spent considerable amount of time in research and development. He is a well
reputed figure in Cardiac Interventions nationally and internationally. He is a Fellow of American
College of Cardiology (FACC), Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention (FSCAI)
and European Society of Cardiology (FESC). He has done more than 10,000 cardiac procedures like
Coronary Angioplasty and Stenting, Post CABG graft interventions, Peripheral, Renal and Carotid
Angioplasty, Balloon Valvotomies, Device Closure for Congenital Heart Defects, Endovascular repair
of Aortic Aneurysms, Pacemaker and ICD implantation and various other interventions. His special
area of interest is Complex Coronary Angioplasty and Peripheral vascular interventions. He is a
faculty for various national and international conferences and DNB Cardiology teaching.
